Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven to 405 degrees Fahrenheit.

375 degrees Fahrenheit in an air fryer.
  1. Half and seed your Jalapeños

Cut the tops off your jalapeños. Cut in half lengthwise, take a spoon and pull the seeds out from the center.

  1. Filling your Jalapeños

Fill your jalapeño crevices with your herbed goat cheese. After you have them filled, spoon some fig jam over the goat cheese.

  1. Wrap your filled jalapeños with a whole strip of bacon. I like to start from the top and work my way down to the bottom, this way the end of my bacon is on under the popper.

  1. Baking your poppers

Place your poppers onto an oven-safe rack on top of a sheet pan. This helps circulate airflow and provides the bacon with a crisp exterior.

  1. Evenly sprinkle brown sugar and black pepper on top of the jalapeño poppers.

If you want it more spicy, add some cayenne pepper on top too!
  1. Bake at 405 for 25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the brown sugar is caramelized. Serve immediately.
