Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven to 350° Fahrenheit.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter, and both sugars together.
I get my cookies so fluffy because I cream them using the whisk attachment and incorporate as much air into it as I can!
  3. Incorporate eggs one at a time.
The image is how my dough looks after I add my eggs, vanilla, and salt!
  4. Stir in vanilla.
  5. Dissolve baking soda into the hot water, add to the batter along with the salt.
  6. Stir in flour and chocolate chips.

  7. Weigh dough into 1.6 ounce balls.

    I use a #24 scoop!
  8. Bake at 350 for 13 minutes or until the bottoms are brown and the edges and top and set.

For a more chewy cookie, you can bake them for 11 minutes!
  9. Transfer to a wire cooling rack to cool off the cooking pan.
I usually wait 2 minutes to transfer them to the wire cooling rack.
